The USKO’s programmes are designed to keep the whole family healthy & happy, but this can only be achieved with the commitment & dedication of our team of Instructors. They are all highly motivated ‘professionals’ with many years experience both practicing & teaching karate, who must all meet vigorous training guidelines. For example, the current Welsh Karate Governing Body requirements for new coach applicants are as follows.

• Health & Safety Executive recognised First Aid qualification.
  
• Enhanced police check (CRB).
  
• Attendance of a Child Protection & Good Practice course.
  
• Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Having said this, it must be remembered that the main reason they are all so enthusiastic is that they love their Sport Karate & enjoy sharing what they have been taught with other individuals.
